This wedding was a stunner! From the incredible mountain top scenery to the lush florals to the all around fantastic styling, it was such a cool experience to capture this momentus celebration. The dream team included amazing planning by Aimee & Kretice from Mountain Occasions, mind-blowing photography by Erik Clausen and stunning floral design by Design Works.
Their wedding was also recently featured on Brides.com (see some of the wonderful photos & details).
This highlights film (set to their favorite song) is just a taste of the outstanding weekend in the Rockies.

Thanks to Style Me Pretty for featuring such a fantastically gorgeous wedding that we were fortunate enough to capture on film. It was a pleasure to work with Lady Liberty Events who designed the event and to shoot alongside the amazingly talented, Jeff Newsom.

Erin & Benn live in one of my favorite cities—New Orleans. They wanted to get married in one of their favorite cities—New York. So it seemed fitting that we found each other. :) They planned a wonderful day all around Manhattan, starting with a perfect ceremony at 620 Garden & Loft in Rockefeller Center. Next stop was Central Park for lunch at The Boathouse. My favorite part of the day was following the pair around the park, stopping along the way for photo ops during golden hour (so inspiring!). We then headed to Grand Central Station where Benn originally proposed to Erin. The day ended at sundown on the rooftop lounge, Mad 46 for cocktails and cheesecake (what else?). I had the best time being a tourist in my own town with Erin, Benn and their lovely family and friends.
Special thanks to Lauren Sozmen of Loli Events and Michael Simon Photography... such a great team!
Take a peak at the highlights from their day here (and how perfect is this song?)...

I can't tell you how much I love a Riverside Farm wedding! I'm so inspired by the beauty of the area and the gorgeous property itself. Every backdrop is perfection. So when Allison & Don invited me to to film their celebration, I jumped at the chance. They were the sweetest pair and and their day was filled with a lot of laughs and a whole lotta of love. We also had an extra awesome time working alongside one of our favorite photographers Dave Robbins, Liz Cotter from the farm, and the fantastic team from True Events.
Please enjoy a glimpse of their day:

I love a New York City wedding. The NY Public Library and Bryant Park are some of my favorite places in the city and these were the backdrops to the fantastic celebration of Lisa & Avi. They got ready at the lovely Bryant Park Hotel, then wed on the rooftop of the Bryant Park Grill and continued the party downstairs, dancing the night away. Instead of cake, they opted for ice cream sandwiches, provided by a Cool Haus truck (so cute!). As always, we had a blast documenting the fun alongside Karen and Frank of Karen Hill Photography. Enjoy their sweet highlights here...

Sasha & Josh were the CUTEST! I am such a sucker for couples that are that in love. Especially after being together since high school! They held their celebration at one of our favorite venues in Long Island City, The Foundry. From their adorable first look, to their fun photo shoot with a checker cab, to their heartfelt and hilarious ceremony... it was a perfect day. We used audio clips from their ceremony throughout this film which just adds to the sweetness of it all. ENJOY!

Words can't describe the fantastic destination wedding weekend that Kiele & Giacomo put together for their closest friends and family in the small town of Reggello, located in Northern Tuscany. It was beyond magical. The two of them were so gracious, inclusive and fun-loving. It was a real pleasure to get to know their wonderful community who came from all over the world to celebrate with them.
Their guests took up residence at the Fattoria Degli Usignoli for the week, eating delicious Tuscan cuisine, swimming in bright blue pools and relaxing, Italian style. When the big day arrived it was picture perfect weather. I was so inspired that day... not only by the incredible scenery but mostly by the love of the couple and the happiness of their friends and families. Everyone wore huge smiles all day long. AND these two had style for miles. From Kiele's gorgeous dress to Giacomo's classic suit to their fantastic vintage Alfa Romeo... it was all too perfect and a dream for me to capture on film.
Check out the highlights from their day here (song inspired by the recent film "To Rome with Love")

Annie & Phil were not only incredibly stylish, they were really cool, super down to earth and just plain fun to be around. They tied the knot at one of my favorite locations... the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. It was in full bloom that day and the super 8 film gave the vibrant green green grass, pink roses and rose colored dusky skies that extra special pop. It was a treat to work alongside photographer Karen Hill, who also shot film that day. Annie and Phil were so in love and it was a pleasure to document their amazing day.

Sasheen and Philip were my kindred souls with our shared love of retro-modern-vintage. They put together a class act of a wedding in the one and only Elvis Honeymoon Hideaway—where Elvis and his young bride Priscilla spent their first days as husband and wife. This residence was built in the early 60s and was considered "the house of the future" with it's mid-century modern architecture and design. The house was restored in the 90s to it's orginal glory and I have to say, it was the perfect setting for an intimate wedding with tons of retro touches. From Sasheen's amazing 60s era wedding dress to Phil's classic bowtie (that took him ages to find) to their collection of vintage cake toppers, each detail was right on the mark and made me feel like I'd stepped back in time.
The ceremony was held outside by the pool and the reception followed, complete with a delicious Mexican buffet (YUM!). Besides all the fun vintage flair, I had a ball getting to know this delightful couple and sharing their day with them.

Where do I start? This celebration encompassed everything I love about weddings. A perfect (very warm!) fall day. An incredible rustic farm setting. Pretty details. Great style. Yummy food. A fun-loving group of family and friends. An awesome band. Some raucous dancing. And a truly lovely couple, madly in love. Cara & Drew's day was perfection, plain and simple.
To experience a bit of the magic, please enjoy their film highlights...

Heather & Craig's wedding was the perfect Manhattan celebration. They saw each other for the first time that day at Battery Park, where they also had one of their first dates. The weather was fantastic for the super fun photo shoot. They were then whisked away uptown to wed in the magnificent St. Patrick's Cathedral. The space was overwhelming but the lighthearted ceremony was remarkably intimate for being in such a grand cathedral. And from there, the party got started at Studio 450 right across the island.
I loved that space. It was so clean, white and bright... the ideal loft space to hold a rocking party. Heather & Craig both looked so happy all day, enjoying themselves to the fullest. I really adored this couple. My favorite part of the day was when we took them to the very top of the roof, overlooking all of New York at sunset to steal a few more super 8 moments. And how can you go wrong with one of Heather's favorite songs, "Catch the Wind" by Donovan (the perfect compliment to evoking super 8 nostalgia!)?

Ok, prepare yourselves for 2 of the most gorgeous brides ever seen on film. I absolutely love how they completely embraced their celebration and embodied being brides. This was a once in a lifetime deal and they decided to really go for it! I remember when I first met with Sharda & Anna and how they were giggling like little girls telling me about picking out their dresses and how excited they were for their big day. I also distinctly remember how Anna mentioned that they going all out but that they couldn't quite justify fireworks, even though they wanted them.
Well, surprise, surprise... on the day of their wedding, at their same venue, The Cake Boss just happened to be proposing to his girlfriend and had arranged a giant fireworks show. So Sharda & Anna got their fireworks wish. It was too cool and they were soooo happy. You gotta love a wedding with two amazing women in two gorgeous dresses, a tearful ceremony, a costume change, a drag queen show, a double bouquet toss, so much fun dancing with the most fun-loving guests, the surprise fireworks display, and two people madly in love.
ENJOY...

Ok, so there is love between two people and then there is mad passionate L-O-V-E. That's what Marla and Edwin shared. The "omg, they are so in LOVE" kind. It was kind of amazing. When they had their first look and photo shoot on the beach, I almost felt like I was intruding on this incredibly special time they were sharing. They didn't even notice the cameras... they were just so in it. It was inspiring (and what I want someday!). ;)
Not only were they incredibly smitten with each other, they just so happened to put together an incredibly intimate affair for their close friends and families. They embraced their two cultures for their ceremony (Marla is Canandian and Edwin is Dominican) which included traditions from each (there were readings in Spanish, English and Hebrew). They wed over the cliffs over looking the Pacific at the lovely Santa Barbara Beach Club, then dined along one long family-style table. The evening continued inside and where the danced the night away to a lively Latin band. You can just FEEL the passion between these two!

Maegan & Kevin put together one of the most fabulous weddings I've seen, on one of the most coveted wedding dates of the year: 9-10-11.
They were married in a lovely church in Bristol, Rhode Island and their reception followed at the Eisenhower House (reminiscent of the glory days in Newport). Their attention to detail was impressive! It was vintage chic at it's finest... with gorgeous table settings, florals, guest book signing area, and my favorite... the lounge area under the tree complete with a glowing chandelier (pictured below and taken by the very talented Connie of Studio Atticus). I loved everything about this wedding... most especially the golden hour photo shoot along the water and of course, the love that Maegan and Kevin shared!

OMG, what a wedding! Liz & David planned such a perfect affair. The day started off with Liz and her ladies getting ready at the very chic James Hotel in Soho. Meanwhile, David and his boys got ready over at their venue, the wonderfully fabulous Foundry in Long Island City. After a photo shoot on the streets of Queens, the ceremony took place under the tent and was followed by a fantastic cocktail reception, then dinner and lots of dancing under the canopy of lights. Such a fun night for such a great couple!

Vermont is unquestionably one of the most beautiful locations in the U.S. and Jenn & Gabe selected a fantastic area representative of everything a trip to the New England had to offer. Their destination wedding began on Friday evening at The Barn Door and set the tone for the fun-filled weekend that lied ahead. There were games, a wonderful BBQ spread, music performed by a horn ensemble (one of which was Jenn's father!), lots of great toasts, and once the sun set, a lively contra dance session was held in the barn. The contra band taught all of their guests the moves and in no time everyone was having a ball skipping arm and arm to the infectous music. It looked like so much fun, I even put my camera down for a dance and joined in.
Here is the film we put together of the Welcome BBQ...
Now prepare yourself for the beauty of Jenn & Gabe's wedding day. The Round Barn Farm had fields of wild flowers, and pretty ponds, and roaming cows and a perfect barn to host an amazing party. The couple put so much thought into all the details and included much of their family history (from the bible that Jenn's grandmother and mother both carried down the aisle to a display of family photos & historic wedding dresses which greeted their guests upon entry into the reception). I couldn't imagine a better way to celebrate!
Here is their wedding day highlights...
And if that's not enough, here is the fun clip from their Silent Film Booth (that their guests thoroughly enjoyed!)...

What a day! Amber & Ben were so in L-O-V-E. And they created the perfect celebration in the lovely town of Ithaca in upstate NY, home of their alma mater, Cornel University. Everything about this day was so natural and perfect. And I cannot get over the shots in that sunflower field! If you love sunflowers, you will die over these moving images.

The motto for this amazingly whimsical wedding was "life is a carnival." Sarah and Joe weaved perfectly styled details into their vintage-inspired carnival affair where the reception was held at the old-time Glen Echo theme park in Maryland. From the old fashioned games, concessions, swing band, and even the carousel rides, this was a celebration that took the word "theme" to the next level! I think this film looks straight out of the 1950s and super 8 film was the perfect choice to capture all of the fun!
And how good is this song "Carousel" by The Hollies? So perfect (if I do say so myself). :)

I had such a good time at Jackie & Eric's wedding in Long Island. The day started out at their home, where Eric was getting ready with his boys. His brother took us out on his boat, into the harbor that they live on, which was so much fun! Then it was off to Jackie's family's place to see her get ready and drive off in a vintage Bonneville. She was having the best time in that thing.
The love between the two of them was so present and they were both so happy to finally be tying the knot after waiting for THE ONE. As they say, good things come to those who wait!

What more could you ask for with a setting like the Brooklyn Botanic Garden for your wedding celebration? It was a perfectly sunny summer day, the grass was a vibrant green, the sky crystal blue and the flowers were all in bloom. Deb & Ted were so happy to finally be tying the knot after dating since college. And their friends and families were thrilled to help them celebrate their joyous union. Gorgeous strolls through the park, a heartfelt ceremony surrounded by trees, a lovely sunset cocktail hour around the ponds, and a raucous dance party lead by the amazing Dexter Lake Club Band ensued on their awesome day.
This highlights film is set to one of Deborah & Ted's favorite songs (not the most "wedding-y" song you might be thinking, but it actually works really well!)...

I've been waiting to use the song "Colours" by Donovan for some time now but I needed the perfect bride with yellow hair (like the lyrics specify)! I also needed a film with lots of lots of colors. And well, this was the ideal piece for that, being that this couple held their ceremony in a garden full of the most gorgeous colors you could imagine! The flowers were unbelievable and super 8 was the perfect choice to film the all the vivid hues of the rainbow (I only wish I could have captured the amazing fragrance!).
Their day started at the lovely Saint Paul Hotel where the ladies enjoyed high tea whilst getting ready and Alisha saw Anthony for the first time at the University where they first met. Their initimate ceremony followed at the Como Park Conservatory. The two of them were so darn sweet and their entire community of friends and family were all so lovely! It's true what they say about Mid-westerners... nicest people on earth.

It's always a treat to have the opportunity to travel for destination weddings, especially to places you adore. When I was asked to film the wedding of Nicola & Joel in the South of France, I jumped at the chance. The couple had waited 16 years and 3 children later to officially tie the knot and they did it in style.
It became one of the loveliest weddings I've filmed to date. The locations were beyond beautiful... the ceremony was held at Nicola's family home La Rivolte in Grasse and the reception took place at the Chateau de La Napoule in Cannes. The love between Nicola & Joel was so sweet, their amazing community of friends and families were so warm, and the entire weekend was one lovely experience after the next! This was definitely a celebration for the ages... and well worth the wait!

Now this was my kind of urban affair! Courtney & Bronson decided to have a wedding that they considered "their perfect day in New York City." It started with getting ready in a fabulous suite at The Greenwich Hotel, followed by an intimate ceremony in historic Duane Park near their home in Tribeca. Next came dinner in the private room of one of their favorite restaurants, Locanda Verde. And finally, town cars picked up their 50 guests and took them to a private concert of their favorite singer/songwriter, David Ford at the Rockwood Music Hall. Such a perfectly amazing day!
How cute are these two?...

Giselle and Dan were the best! As you can see, their day was so full of love and joy and FUN. They had a lovely intimate church ceremony at Giselle's high school chapel followed by a beautiful ballroom reception at the Tarrytown House Estate. Giselle's favorite color is purple and she incorporated her color throughout the day (from the bridesmaid dresses to the flowers to the men's ties, to the cake accents, etc). I love a commitment to a favorite color. :)
This was also the first time we captured the audio of their ceremony and weaved snippets of the vows throughout their film (a new add-on feature we're introducing for interested clients). When couples create personalized vows, it just makes the film that much more special!
This highlights film showcases a cover version of a song that the couple arranged and SANG themselves (which also happened to be their first dance song). What a talented pair!

I couldn't resist using Judy Garland's "I'm Lucky" for the highlights of this adorable couple's celebration. Wed in October over Halloween weekend, Anna & Michael got ready at the fabulous Biltmore Four Seasons in Santa Barbara, CA. A lovely ceremony was held in the local Unitarian church followed by a grand reception at the Rockwood Women's club. They choose holiday themed accents throughout the event (yay for silly costumes and pumpkins!). Everyone had a ball that day and we adorded capturing the spirited crowd in the gorgeous fall light.

Andrea & Brad were the best! They had an incredibly fun and heartfelt celebration in Tarrytown, NY just north of NYC in November. The rain threatened to wash out their outdoor ceremony but the skies cleared and they had one of the loveliest sunset ceremonies ever. That orange sunset and purple sky killed me... and the results on film are breathtaking (you just can't get those colors on video)!
The fun didn't stop with their awesome dance party that went into the wee hours of the night. We loved this wedding to much and hope you enjoy sharing in their day...
